The OU Webbe Rebbe is a service of the OU, which provides advice and direction in halacha (Jewish law) and other matters of Jewish concern.

The Kashruth Division's Webbe Rebbe staff can provide information about the laws and history of Kashruth, OU Kosher policies and standards, and OU certified products, or investigate "illegal" OU's. We do not evaluate other Kosher Certifying agencies.

The Webbe Rebbe staff will consult with Rabbis, company representatives, or food technologists to best answer your Kashruth questions.

If your question is of a halachic (Jewish legal) nature other than Kosher, our staff will refer it to the proper member of its panel of poskim (experts) in Israel or North America.
